Melissa Tremblay

Firm Administrator / Paralegal

Melissa Tremblay has been with Whistleblower Law Collaborative since it was launched by co-founders Bob Thomas and Suzanne Durrell in 2003.  As the longtime administrator and paralegal, she manages the firm’s infrastructure and provides legal support for its busy caseload. Melissa is the gatekeeper for the firm’s new business, and she carefully welcomes and processes each potential new client that enters Whistleblower Law Collaborative’s doors.  She handles the complicated Rule 4 service on the federal government and the 32 states (along with Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands) that have their own False Claims laws, which is a critical part of the firm’s False Claims Act practice.

Melissa began her legal career at New England Mutual Life Insurance Company, working in their General Law Group processing the lawsuits and subpoenas received by the company and eventually managing an administrative team.  Having grown an interest in litigation while working with this group, she moved on to Testa Hurwitz & Thibeault’s litigation practice group where she spent seven years assisting in SEC class actions and white collar representation in government fraud investigations.
