Jacob B. Engelstad

I became a lawyer because I wanted to make the world a better place. What excites me most about representing whistleblowers is helping them use their voices to hold powerful institutions accountable.

Jacob joins Whistleblower Law Collaborative as an Associate after serving as a law clerk with the firm while completing law school. His interest in whistleblower advocacy, combined with his experience in public service, has enabled him to make an immediate impact in representing relators and advancing the firm’s mission.

A 2022 graduate of Denison University, Jacob began his legal career working full-time at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. He enrolled in Suffolk University Law School’s evening division the following year and joined Whistleblower Law Collaborative in 2025 as a summer law clerk while completing his legal studies. His work at the Attorney General’s Office provided valuable experience and insight into government investigations and enforcement matters, which continues to inform his practice.

A native of Somerville, Massachusetts, Jacob is committed to helping individuals navigate the challenges of reporting fraud, misconduct, and other unlawful activity. His dedication to the whistleblower experience and his strong foundation in public service make him a valuable member of the Whistleblower Law Collaborative team.
