Erica Blachman Hitchings to Join Tyler Shultz in Upcoming BU Business School Panel on Whistleblower Ethics

Whistleblower Law Collaborative member Erica Blachman Hitchings is pleased to participate in a panel, Whistleblowers: Capitalism’s Protectors, on Thursday, April 27, 2023.  In addition to her WLC whistleblower practice, Erica teaches Health Care Fraud and Abuse at Boston University School of Law.

Whistleblower Ethics in the Real World

The forum will be led by David Epstein, the Executive Director of the Susilo Institute for Ethics in the Global Economy, within Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.

Accompanying David and Erica on the panel will be Tyler Shultz.  Tyler was the first Theranos whistleblower to come forward and report information of ethics violations to authorities.  Tyler will share his real-life whistleblower experience and what he has learned from it.  Whistleblower attorney and author Stephen Kohn will round out the group.

Together, the group will discuss what to do when something doesn’t “feel right” and the importance of whistleblowers in all areas of the economy.  This is not just an academic talk.  It gets to the heart of the lived experiences of whistleblowers and their legal counsel.

Registration is Free, Virtual, and Open to the Public
